JOSH FRIEDMAN: Born in New York City and raised in South Florida, Josh grew up playing in West Boynton. Josh was a graduate of Santaluces High School, where he was coached by Sam Howell, Carlos Silver and former St. Louis Cardinal Roy Silver. Playing in a competitive High School league, Josh spent his high school years against former Major League stand outs such as Alex Rodriguez, Johnny Damon and Mark Brownson. While at Santaluces HS, Josh earned the District Batting Title (.498 avg.), Gold Glove Award and lead his team in all offensive categories, earning him Team MVP. Josh was voted by the District  as an All-Area Infielder and a member of the Dick Howser All Star Senior Classic  (4-5, 2R), where he won MVP. After High School, Josh was awarded an Athletic Scholarship to Northwood University WPB where he started at short stop and lead off hitter. Due to a back injury, Josh's playing career came to an end.

Josh now coaches for Suncoast High School (5 years) where he was awarded a Coach Of The Year award in 2018 and Vipers Baseball Club. This will be Josh's 5 year with the Vipers and his primary focus with the Vipers will be working with infielders and hitters.
